BE A LIGHT TO FAMILIES IN NEED
Special holidays like Christmas can be deeply meaningful, but for many of the families we serve, they can also be overwhelming. Limited resources often force moms to choose between paying bills or buying gifts, and many go without presents themselves. Our mission is to change that story.
Each year, we invite individuals, corporations, churches, and community groups to adopt a family and help ensure that every mom and child has gifts under their tree. Through your generosity, families experience not stress or scarcity, but joy, dignity, and hope.
During the Christmas season, we gather as a community to celebrate with all the families we serve. Moms feel seen and valued. Children feel excitement and wonder. And donors get to be part of something bigger—bringing comfort, joy, and tangible love to families who need it most.

Mother’s Day
CELEBRATE THE MOMS WHO ARE TOO OFTEN FORGOTTEN
Mother’s Day can be a lonely holiday for single moms, but we make sure they feel seen, loved, and celebrated. Each year, supporters step in to lift up our “super moms” with thoughtful gifts, encouragement, and a beautiful community gathering.
A cherished tradition is our mini family portrait sessions. Every family receives a professional photo - something many single moms can’t afford. These portraits are then gifted to the moms at our Mother’s Day celebration, capturing priceless memories and the growth of their children year after year.
You or your group can adopt a mom for Mother’s Day or volunteer to help make this special event possible. Your involvement helps remind every mother that she’s valued and never alone.
Hearts for Kids
At Hearts for Kids, we believe caring for families means pouring just as much love, support, and opportunity into a child’s life as we do into their mom’s. Every child deserves access to after-school activities that inspire confidence, summer camps that spark joy, mental health support that nurtures emotional well-being, and all the basic needs required to grow strong and secure. Through Hearts for Kids, we are also building meaningful mentorship opportunities so every child has someone walking beside them—guiding, encouraging, and believing in their potential. When children are fully supported, they don’t just get by—they truly thrive.
