Empowerment Begins with Opportunity
At Hearts for Moms, we believe empowerment begins with opportunity. That’s why we launched our Entrepreneurship Initiative: a program designed to help single moms in our care create sustainable side incomes that can grow into thriving businesses.
From Full-Time Workers To Future Founders
As the income gap continued to widen, we recognized the need to equip moms with opportunities to earn additional income and accelerate their path to financial stability. Through the Entrepreneurship Initiative, Hearts for Moms empowers women to explore business ideas, develop skills, and even partner with us for hands-on experience. With resources, coaching, and real-world support, moms are learning to build sustainable income streams - and many are on track to become future entrepreneurs who will one day hire others. Entrepreneur Initiative Bridges A Mom's Income Gap
While many of our moms are already working full-time jobs, the Entrepreneur Initiative gives them the tools, mentorship, and confidence to bridge the income gap. This is a vital step, as a single mom with one child must earn $89,400 annually just to cover the basic cost of living in Palm Beach County (Living Wage Calculator).
To further support their growth, Hearts for Moms has hired several of these moms, giving them hands-on experience and income while they build their businesses and refine their skills.
Through this initiative, our moms are turning their passions into purpose-driven enterprises, creating financial stability for their families today and generational impact for tomorrow. These women are not only building businesses - they’re becoming the future entrepreneurs and community leaders who will one day give back and help others rise.

Meet Mila!
Mila’s journey reflects the heart of Hearts for Moms (HFM). Using her expertise in social media, she stepped into the role of HFM’s Social Media Specialist—an opportunity that inspired the launch of our Entrepreneur Initiative.
After previously trying to start a business without success, Mila was given resources and a chance to grow through HFM. Today, she is contracted by multiple businesses and is building a thriving social media business of her own, with dreams of one day hiring others.
