At Hearts for Moms, we partner with mothers who are ready to change their future and pursue their dreams. This is a long-term commitment, on average four years, tailored to where you are in your journey. We're not a handout; we're a high-accountability community that walks with you as you set goals, build skills, and take brave steps forward. Many moms before you have achieved what once felt unimaginable, breaking cycles that held them back and creating new legacies for their families. You can too - and we're here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Empowering Moms to Thrive, Not Just Survive
In a community where single mothers struggle to afford rising housing and living costs, Hearts for Moms stands as a lifeline of hope and transformation. Through essential subsidies and a structured program built on accountability in finances, education, career growth, and personal choices, moms move through phases that truly change their lives.
As we faithfully sow into them, we watch moms and their children grow beyond doubt, rebuilding confidence and breaking generational poverty. In time, they reap a harvest of independence - and many return to sow back by volunteering or financially, giving back into the very organization that helped them thrive.
Transformation Requires Community
True transformation doesn’t happen alone. Our success depends on the support of local leaders, professionals, and volunteers who generously use their gifts to serve our moms and their children. From tutors and doctors to attorneys, counsellors, and mentors, the community steps in to walk alongside each mom, speaking life, offering accountability, and demonstrating love every step of the way.
The success and growth of every mom depends on the grace, community, and resources that surround her.
The Hearts for Moms Journey
At Hearts for Moms, we apply a faith-based, full-circle strategy built on three transformational phases:
Sow
Phase one: Sow
Building a strong foundation
We begin by SOWING into families through crisis stabilization. Moms are supported by subsidizing the cost of housing, childcare, transportation, education, and counseling. Moms are paired with mentors and financial coaches to help set and achieve goals. In this season, trust is built, basic needs are met, goals are set and healing begins.
"Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy". Psalm 126:5
Grow
Phase two: Grow
Developing strength and stability
As families stabilize, they enter the GROW phase. With the guidance of dedicated mentors and coaches, moms pursue education, career advancement, entrepreneurship, and personal development. We equip them with the tools to become financially self-sufficient, spiritually grounded, and emotionally whole. Accountability, community and progress are key, because we believe in equipping, not enabling.

Phase three: Harvest
Multiplying impact
Finally, we celebrate the HARVEST. Moms who once felt hopeless begin to flourish - buying homes, launching businesses, becoming good stewards of their finances, and leading their families with confidence. Many are giving back, bringing transformation full circle and multiplying impact.

Hearts for Kids
As we witnessed the unique needs of our mom's children, we felt called to launch Hearts for Kids - ensuring every child is seen, supported, and given the chance to thrive alongside their mom. While we help families build a strong foundation, each child receives intentional mentorship, counseling, access to after-school activities, summer camps, and opportunities to discover and grow their God-given gifts. Our heart is to nuture them in the way they should go, trusting God's promise that "when they are old, they will not depart from it". - Proverbs 22:6
Financial Supportive Services
At Hearts for Moms, we believe no single mom should have to choose between paying rent, going to school, or caring for her children. The funds we raise provide direct financial support that helps single mothers bridge the gap between surviving and thriving. Through your generosity, moms receive supplemental assistance to cover the high costs of housing, childcare, education, transportation, mental health counselling, and essential needs like diapers, wipes, and emergency expenses.
Single moms are among the most financially vulnerable members of our community. Families led by single mothers are over three times more likely to live in poverty than two-parent households, and without support, many face the very real threat of homelessness or long-term dependence on government aid.
Hearts for Moms provides financial support designed to remove the barriers that keep single moms from moving forward:
Education Scholarships: Tuition, books, and school-related expenses so moms can complete degrees or certifications.
Housing Assistance: Help with rent and deposits to create stability for families in transition.
Childcare Support: Connecting moms to safe, reliable childcare that allows them to work or attend school.
Transportation Aid: Ensuring moms can get to work, school, and essential appointments.
Mental Wellness & Counselling: Access to licensed professionals through our counselling partners for emotional and spiritual healing.
Each dollar invested helps a mom move one step closer to independence, confidence, and hope. Your support doesn’t just meet immediate needs, it changes long-term outcomes for families and breaks generational cycles of poverty. Together we aren't just covering costs - we're cultivating futures.
The Impact: Lasting Independence and Legacy
The investment we make today doesn't stop with one mom, it multiplies into future generations. Our approach produces measurable results:
Moms and children, once on the verge of homelessness, are stabilized and kept together.
One mom, Becca, purchased her first home with the help of her financial coach, and other moms are working towards the same goal.
Many have eliminated over $110,000+ in debt, raised credit scores, and opened emergency and savings accounts.
Moms have earned degrees or certifications in nursing, education, health administration, digital marketing, and more.
Through counseling, moms have experienced deep emotional healing from trauma.
Twelve cars have been gifted, while others have purchased reliable vehicles with minimal monthly payments.
Children are growing up in safe, stable homes, surrounded by love, mentorship, and hope.
Moms and their children are growing in faith, discovering the love of God and finding lasting hope.
